This active adapter converts the video signal from a Mini DisplayPort port to a DVI-D input. It is designed to connect devices with mDP output, such as Mac or PC computers, to monitors, TVs, or projectors that only have a DVI connection. Its active operation enables compatibility with graphics cards that do not emit multi-mode DP++ signals, facilitating integration in configurations where passive adapters are not viable.

The device supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 pixels at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It features a male Mini DisplayPort connector on one end and a female DVI-D port on the other, with a cable length of 0.12 m. Made in black, it weighs 0.038 kg and its dimensions are 44 mm wide, 20 mm high, and 200 mm deep. It is compatible with Intel Thunderbolt when connected to DisplayPort I/O ports over Thunderbolt.
