This internal expansion card connects to the computer via a PCI Express x1 interface to add two DB9 serial ports. Each port supports 2- or 4-wire RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 standards, enabling communication with serial peripheral devices. The operating mode configuration is performed independently for each port using DIP switches integrated on the board.

The device features per-port LED indicators for real-time activity monitoring and offers three configurable power modes via jumpers: 12 V, 5 V, or no power. It includes low-profile brackets for installation in small form factor systems. The card has Level 4 ESD protection, uses the UART 16C1050 controller, and is compatible with Windows and Linux operating systems.
