Edimax GS-1008PL V2 8xGbE PoE+ Switch

The Edimax GS-1008PL V2 is a desktop or rack-mount switch that provides Gigabit Ethernet connectivity through its 8 RJ-45 ports. This device integrates PoE+ technology compliant with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards, allowing it to power compatible devices with an output of up to 30 W per port and a total power budget of 70 W. Its fanless design and metal housing make it suitable for environments where silent operation is required.

In terms of performance, it features a switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s, a 4K MAC address table and a 1.5 Mb buffer memory. The transmission method is store-and-forward, supporting 9K byte jumbo frames. It includes LED indicators for link status, activity and PoE, as well as a DIP switch for functions such as extended PoE up to 200 meters, VLAN and QoS. It operates with an internal 100-240 V AC power supply.
