The Zebra ZD230 thermal printer is designed for label printing with a resolution of 203 dpi. It features 128 MB of Flash memory and supports a maximum print width of 104 mm. Its print speed reaches 152 mm per second, enabling agile production of barcodes and graphics.

The device integrates USB and Ethernet connectivity out of the box, facilitating its integration into local networks. It supports multiple barcode formats, both 1D and 2D, including QR and DataMatrix. The firmware is compatible with ZPL II, EPL 2, and XML.
