This StarTech.com kit allows you to extend an HDMI video and audio signal over distances of up to 50 meters. It uses dual Cat5e or Cat6 cabling for transmission, supporting high-definition resolutions of 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080). The system includes local transmitter and remote receiver units, designed to integrate into new or existing Ethernet infrastructures through simple installation.

The Power Over Cable (POC) functionality allows the device to be powered by a single adapter connected to either the transmitter or the receiver, facilitating its use in areas with limited access to power outlets. It incorporates EDID monitor emulation to maintain native resolution and screen compatibility. The connectors are standard Type A HDMI and the equipment is black. HDMI cables up to 10 meters long are supported at both ends for greater flexibility.
