The Ubiquiti NanoStation AC Loco 5 is a point-to-point link device designed to operate in the 5 GHz band. It integrates an antenna with 13 dBi gain and a 45-degree beamwidth, enabling wireless connections of up to 1000 Mbit/s. Its UV-stabilized plastic housing is prepared for outdoor use, supporting operating temperatures between -40 and 70 °C.

This equipment features a Gigabit Ethernet interface and is powered by 2-pair passive PoE, with a maximum power consumption of 7 W. It incorporates a 560 MHz Atheros MIPS 74Kc processor and 64 MB of DDR2 memory. Installation is performed on a pole using the included kit, and it offers ±24kV ESD/EMP protection.
