The Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5AC-500 directional antenna is designed for wireless links in the 5 GHz band, operating in the frequency range of 5150 to 5875 MHz. It uses airMAX ac technology to support speeds of up to 450 Mbps real TCP/IP, integrating the radio interface within the antenna itself via the InnerFeed system to eliminate cabling losses.

The unit features a 500 mm dish-type reflector and a protective radome that shields the radio from the elements. Its hardware includes an Atheros MIPS 74KC processor at 720 MHz, 128 MB of RAM, and 8 MB of storage, plus a Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 port. Power consumption is 8.5 W, and its dimensions are 525 mm wide, 525 mm high, and 315 mm deep.
