The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 6P is a network device designed to manage data traffic through six Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. Its architecture is based on a MIPS64 processor operating at a frequency of 1000 MHz, allowing it to handle data flows at speeds of 10, 100, and 1000 Mbit/s. The unit includes an eMMC storage unit for the operating system and configurations, as well as a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port for connecting peripherals or external storage.

In terms of security, the router supports algorithms and protocols such as IPSec, SNMP, and SSH, offering options for Site-to-Site VPN connections and remote access via OpenVPN or PPTP. Device management can be performed via CLI, SNMP, NetFlow, LLDP, and NTP interfaces, as well as through the UNMS platform. This combination of technical features allows for detailed network administration and the implementation of robust security policies in professional environments.
