Gembird USB Smart Card Reader (FD2-SCR)

This compact card reader allows reading of smart cards, security cards, SIM cards, and CAC cards via a USB 2.0 interface. It features a male USB Type-A connector and an integrated 1-meter cable, facilitating direct connection to computers. The device includes an LED operation indicator and a remote activation function that starts when the card is inserted.

The hardware supports voltages of 5 V, 3 V, and 1.8 V, complying with classes A, B, and C. It is compatible with PC/SC 2.0, ISO 7816, and EMV2000 Level 1 standards, supporting T=0, T=1, 2-wire, 3-wire, and I2C protocols. It works with smartphone SIM cards, department ID cards, and various chipsets such as SLE, AT24C, and ST14C. Its transfer speed reaches 640 Kbps and it operates in power-saving mode. The dimensions are 65 x 84 x 95 mm and it weighs 60 g.
