Tichu is a card game designed for four participants organized into two teams of two. The main objective is to be the first team to accumulate 1,000 points, which requires coordination, memory, and precise reading of the table. The gameplay is based on tactical decision-making, where the timing of playing cards and supporting your partner are decisive for the final result.

The deck consists of four suits of 13 cards, including aces, numbers, and face cards, plus four special cards: the Dog, the Phoenix, the Dragon, and the Mah Jong. These last ones introduce variations in the pace of the game. The mechanics revolve around forming combinations such as singles, straights, three-of-a-kind, or consecutive pairs. The player who wins the trick has the ability to start the next round with the type of combination they prefer.
