This set of four mini-expansions expands the basic Carcassonne game through new thematic modules. The Markets of Leipzig introduce double territory tiles representing the city with four districts, allowing players to forgo road points to send followers and earn final bonuses based on the district type. The toll module adds personal tokens and tiles with travelers, offering extra points for completing roads where a toll token has been placed, with values increasing based on the presence of travelers.
The collection also includes the German Monasteries and Cathedrals modules. These components modify the tile-laying strategy of the classic title, incorporating new tactical options for participants. The set is designed to integrate into existing games, offering variations in scoring and follower management through the new territorial and bonus elements.
