This expansion for the Marvel United board game adds direct conflict mechanics between hero teams, inspired by the Civil War storyline. It allows players to form two opposing factions, such as Iron Man's allies against Captain America's Secret Avengers, competing without villain intervention. The set includes two exclusive player-versus-player modes: Hero Clash, which is tactical in nature, and Registration Battle, featuring an asymmetric and competitive focus.
The content requires the base game Marvel United to function and does not include villain components. The box contains 8 hero miniatures, 96 hero cards, a Civil War board, 6 new locations, and various mission, event, population, and team cards. It is designed to integrate with the rest of the Marvel United universe and is compatible with previous expansions. It includes a booklet with the specific rules for the new game modes.
