This Nilox keyboard integrates a PC/SC 2.0 certified smart card reader, designed to read documents such as the electronic ID card (DNI-e) or health cards without the need for additional external devices. It features a wired connection via USB port, allowing for direct installation on computers running Windows or Linux operating systems. Configuration is automatic when connected to a free USB 2.0 port, although using the DNI-e may require specific cryptographic modules.

The device features a compact form factor and a black finish, with a Spanish key layout. It includes twelve multimedia functions to control the system directly from the keyboard. The reader supports standard ISO-7816 memory cards of classes A, B, and C, in both T=1 and T=0 modes. For proper operation, the card must be inserted with the chip facing down and towards the user.
