The TP-Link Deco M5 is a mesh system consisting of three units designed to provide indoor wireless coverage. It operates under the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard in dual band, simultaneously using the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies to manage data traffic. Each node integrates four internal antennas that allow it to reach a maximum wireless speed of 1300 Mbit/s, facilitating the connection of multiple devices in the home.

In terms of its physical configuration, each unit features a white format with dimensions of 120 mm wide, 120 mm deep, and 38 mm high. It has two RJ-45 LAN ports for wired connections. Security is based on WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK protocols, while compatibility covers the IEEE 802.11a, b, g, n, and ac standards. The system operates with an input voltage of 100 to 240 V.
