This StarTech.com hub adds four 5 Gbps USB-A ports to devices with USB-C or USB-A connectivity via a single cable. It includes a dedicated port with BC 1.2 fast charging that delivers up to 1.5 A, compatible with CDP for data and charging or DCP for charging without a host. The external 24 W power supply distributed across the ports allows you to connect peripherals such as keyboards, mice, or storage drives while maintaining stable performance.

The device features built-in overcurrent and overvoltage protection, as well as support for Wake on USB and event monitoring. Its housing is made with 70% post-consumer recycled plastic and a 35% PCR TPE cover. The removable 2-in-1 host cable facilitates connection with both current and legacy systems.
