This OS2 single-mode fiber optic patch cable is designed to facilitate connectivity in 100G networks. Its duplex configuration with LC to LC connectors enables reliable links between servers, switches, and other data center equipment. The 9/125µm core is compatible with optimized laser sources and supports coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) in the 1260-1625 nm range, improving channel isolation over long distances.

Precision ceramic ferrules ensure exact alignment, keeping insertion loss below 0.3 dB. The UPC polish on the ends improves return loss characteristics compared to previous techniques. The bend-insensitive fiber reduces light leakage, exceeding ITU-T G652.D/G657.A1 and IEC60703-2-50 standards. Its flame-retardant LSZH jacket emits low smoke and toxic gases in case of fire, while its yellow color clearly identifies the single-mode fiber type.
