The QNAP TR-002 is a storage expansion enclosure designed to increase the capacity of computer systems and NAS devices. It functions as a direct-attached storage (DAS) system that allows data access via a USB connection. It features two bays compatible with 2.5 and 3.5-inch hard drives or SSDs, using Serial ATA II and Serial ATA III interfaces for internal communication with the drives.
