This StarTech.com SFP+ transceiver module is designed to provide 10 GbE network connectivity via single-mode fiber optic. Compatible with the HPE J9153D model, it works with HPE routers and switches, enabling data transmissions over a maximum distance of 40 km. Its LC interface and 1550 nm wavelength make it suitable for environments requiring long-distance links in 10GBASE-ER networks.

The device supports hot-swapping, which facilitates upgrades and replacements without interrupting network service. It includes Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for link status tracking. With a weight of 0.024 kg and compact dimensions of 58.4 mm wide, 13.7 mm high, and 13.9 mm deep, it integrates easily into compatible equipment. It has a silver finish.
