This internal adapter card installs into a PCI Express slot to add two RS232 serial ports with DB9 connectors to the computer. It enables communication with serial devices at speeds of up to 921.4 Kbps, using the Asix AX99100 chipset and being compatible with the standard UART 16950 specification.

The device includes a preconfigured low-profile bracket and an optional full-height bracket to fit different form factors. It offers a FIFO depth of 256 bytes per transmitter and receiver, supports data bits from 5 to 9, and provides 5/12V output power on pin 9 with external power. It is compatible with PCI Express 1.1 and works on Windows and Linux systems.
