This StarTech.com SFP copper transceiver module enables Gigabit Ethernet network connections via a copper interface. Designed to be MSA-compliant, it works with 1000BASE-TX routers and switches. Its RJ45 connector supports Cat6 or Cat5e cabling, providing a data transfer rate of 1000 Mbit/s over distances of up to 100 meters.
