StarTech.com 3m Multimode Fiber Optic Cable LC/UPC to LC/UPC OM4 - 50/125µm - LOMMF/VCSEL Fiber - 100G Networks - LSZH Cable - L

This 3-meter OM4 multimode fiber optic cable allows you to connect 40GBase-SR4, 100GBase-SR10, SFP+, and QSFP+ transceivers in 40 and 100 Gigabit networks. Its duplex construction with a 50/125µm core is compatible with LED and VCSEL light sources, maintaining backward compatibility with existing 50/125 equipment. The outer jacket is made of flame-retardant LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) material, which reduces smoke, toxicity, and corrosion in the event of exposure to heat or fire, making it suitable for environments where building codes are relevant.

The inner coating uses aramid fiber for increased strength. Each unit has been individually tested and certified according to optical insertion loss limits, ensuring compatibility and reliability. The cable features the aqua color characteristic of the OM4 category and weighs 0.047 kg, facilitating identification and handling during installation in data servers or SANs.
