This active optical cable from Equip enables the transmission of digital video signals over distances of 50 meters. It is designed to comply with the DisplayPort 1.4 standard, supporting resolutions of up to 7680 x 4320 pixels (8K) at 60 Hz or 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) at 120 Hz. Its construction includes DisplayPort male connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts, ensuring a stable connection for devices compatible with this video protocol.
The device supports technologies such as High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Display Stream Compression (DSC), expanding display capabilities. As an active optical cable, it incorporates an internal component that converts electrical signals into optical ones, preventing the typical degradation found in copper cables at long lengths. It features a black finish and weighs 1.68 kg, offering a robust solution for installations requiring high image quality over distance.
